For a wine to bear the Rosenthal name, 100% of the grapes must come from our Malibu estate. Our hillside vineyards sit just four miles from the Pacific Ocean, where cool marine breezes and abundant sunshine create the ideal microclimate for producing exceptional wines. We grow Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Petit Verdot, Syrah, Viognier, and Chardonnay, all hand-harvested and aged in the finest French oak barrels to showcase the elegance and character of Malibu-Newton Canyon.
G Collection
The G Collection—a nod to our founder, George Rosenthal—celebrates creativity and craftsmanship through distinctive blends. These wines combine select grapes from our Malibu estate with exceptional varietals sourced from other renowned California regions, resulting in unique, expressive blends that capture both our estate’s spirit and California’s diverse terroir.

Our Surfrider label gives us the freedom to explore the best vineyards across California while maintaining the same dedication to quality. Each varietal and blend is hand-selected to deliver a vibrant and approachable expression of California wine.
