Rosenthal - The Malibu Estate Tasting Room is located Just across from the beach in Malibu, CA.  The Rosenthal Tasting Room offers a casual atmosphere in which to discover and enjoy our full selection of Rosenthal and Surfrider wines.

Come and enjoy the Live Music Friday - Sunday and Food Trucks on Saturday and Sunday at Rosenthal with an ocean view from our exquisite garden patio.  Please note that Saturdays and Sundays are strictly 21+ only (no infants).

VISIT THE ROSENTHAL WINE BAR & PATIO

Located at 18741 Pacific Coast Highway in beautiful Malibu, California.
We are proud to feature the only wine bar and tasting room on the Pacific Coast Highway.

  • Wine flights/tastings are $18 + tax for four wines. Flights are pre-selected and change weekly.
  • Wines are also sold by the glass and bottle for on site consumption. Bottles and cases can be purchased to take home.
  • Parties of 8 or more please call ahead or email for reservations.
  • We offer cheeses & crackers along with some other small goodies and have food trucks on the weekends. But you are welcome to bring in outside food.
  • No outside alcohol
  • No one under 21 allowed on weekends. Children are welcome on weekdays.
  • We love pets, but no animals allowed, except service animals.

  • Saturday: 11am to 9pm

Cultivated high above the Malibu coastline in vineyards where cool canyon breezes create an extraordinary microclimate, Rosenthal – The Malibu Estate Chardonnay is an elegant wine of unique taste and quality. 

A full-bodied wine, exhibiting nuances of pineapple tropical fruit, lemon, and honey, with a hint of vanilla. Handcrafted by winemaker Christian Roguenant and barrel fermented in French oak.

Block M Cabernet2008

ROSENTHAL ESTATE

BLOCK “M”

100% CABERNET SAUVIGNON

What does the “M” in Block M stand for? Maybe the answer lies in a sip of our single-vineyard 100% Cabernet Sauvignon wine. With limited production of only 16 barrels, the grapes for this wine were hand picked from our marquee vineyard block. Minimalist wine making techniques were used to bring out the terroir that truly captures the exceptional microclimate found in our Malibu Hills vineyards. 

Upon tasting a barrel sample of this wine, we knew that this vineyard block was unique. So, what does “M” stand for? What ever you decide, we hope it is memorable.

2000

ROSENTHAL ESTATE

MERLOT

The 2000 harvest gave us an outstanding crop, with a warm spring and summer allowing concentration of fruit flavors, and adding to the deep color complexity. While northern California had a challenging harvest, our unique location blessed us, producing clean, high quality fruit.

Elegance and refinement are the hallmarks of this fine Merlot. Low-heeled hillside fruit contributes to a richness and complexity not seen in “standard” Merlots. A supple wine with hints of red cherry, plum, exotic spices, and a kiss of oak. Bright berry fruit, smooth middle palate, and a lingering finish, with graceful, well-integrated tannins.
