2008What does the “M” in Block M stand for? Maybe the answer lies in a sip of our single-vineyard 100% Cabernet Sauvignon wine. With limited production of only 16 barrels, the grapes for this wine were hand picked from our marquee vineyard block. Minimalist wine making techniques were used to bring out the terroir that truly captures the exceptional microclimate found in our Malibu Hills vineyards.
Upon tasting a barrel sample of this wine, we knew that this vineyard block was unique. So, what does “M” stand for? What ever you decide, we hope it is memorable.

2000The 2000 harvest gave us an outstanding crop, with a warm spring and summer allowing concentration of fruit flavors, and adding to the deep color complexity. While northern California had a challenging harvest, our unique location blessed us, producing clean, high quality fruit.
Elegance and refinement are the hallmarks of this fine Merlot. Low-heeled hillside fruit contributes to a richness and complexity not seen in “standard” Merlots. A supple wine with hints of red cherry, plum, exotic spices, and a kiss of oak. Bright berry fruit, smooth middle palate, and a lingering finish, with graceful, well-integrated tannins.
